Making strong alkaline and strong acid waters is achieved by adding Sea Salt using the Salt Port in the top as shown. No expensive special liquid solution is required.
Semi annual cleaning with citric acid is achieve using the Salt Port access and recirculating pump.
Easy to replace filters. Remove the filter cover by sliding towards the right. Twist and remove filters.
The easy-to-read LED panel shows the pH you have selected, the number of liters that have been through the machine, and the flow rate. The buttons on the right determine the pH of the water being produced. The buttons on the left – function keys – can be used to adjust the pH and ORP of the water to account for source water differences. The ionizer begins to function when water is turned on – there is no on/off button or switch.
A double filtration system removes chlorine and other contaminants from tap water and makes natural coral calcium available when water is acidic or soft. Water from reverse osmosis purification systems can often gain enough calcium to become ionized. Water from non-salt water softeners is also ionized by our Smart Technology.
Mineral scale causes platinum plating to wear away on solid plates, and less expensive mesh plates can have exposed titanium alloy resulting in minute quantities of heavy metals leaching into the water.
A unique water cooled power supply allows for continual operation without overheating. Conventional solid or mesh plate ionizers can only operate for a limited time before they shut down due to overheating.
With proper care and maintenance, the Living Water unit provides a longer service life than conventional plate units and features a 5 year limited warranty.
